Mini Brie Cheese en Croute with Cherry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 mini brie
  • 1 pkg pre-rolled puff pastry
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 lb fresh cherries
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp water

Instructions

STEP 1

Cut out four rounds from the puff pastry. Wrap the brie in the puff pastry rounds, brush with beaten egg and refrigerate.

STEP 2

Boil the cherries and sugar with the 2/3 cups of water for about 5 minutes.

STEP 3

Mix the cornstarch and 1 Tbsp water together and add to cherries, boiling for 2 minutes.

STEP 4

Bake the puff pastry brie in a preheated 375 degree oven for 20 minutes.

STEP 5

Serve with cherry sauce.
